The private graveside funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 20th, 2022 at the Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 2650 Pillette Road, Windsor, Ontario N8T 1R1.

It is with deep sadness, we announce the loss of a great man. Passed peacefully on December 19, 2022 at 92 years of age, with his family by his side at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare Palliative Care Unit. His loss left a huge void in our hearts. He was kind, honorable and respected by everyone. A person, who loved life and lived for his family. A devoted husband of 65 years to his late wife Emilia (2019), a loving father to his two sons Anatoly and Vitaly, a caring father in law to Lori and a proud grandpa to five grandchildren and a great grandfather to eight great-grandchildren. He was loved and deeply respected by his late brother’s family in Michigan and his late sister’s family in New York. Words can’t describe the immense pain in losing such an amazing person. He will be forever in our hearts and his legacy will live on. Family would like to express heartfelt appreciation to all the staff and nurses of Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare Palliative Care Unit. Everyone there who made his final days as comfortable as possible. Also, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the wonderful nurses of VON, PSW’s of Saint Elizabeth Healthcare and Amazing caregivers of Home Instead.
