The graveside funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 25th, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 2650 Pillette Road, Windsor, Ontario N8T 1R1.
OBITUARY:
December 29, 1950 – January 23, 2023
Passed away in Toronto with her family by her side. Susan was predeceased by her loving parents Dr. Irvin and Mary (Lawrence) Strathman and her brother John David. Lovingly remembered by her Aunt Helen, her siblings Michael (Karen Marren), Judy and Alan (Shera), her niece and nephews, Shyla, Sam, Jonathon and Alistair and her many cousins. Susan was a pistol as a young woman and struck out on her own out of high school. She always worked until she was no longer able and kept her wicked sense of humour through thick and thin. Unfortunately, her health the last few years with COVID made her life less full as she lost all her euchre buddies. She still enjoyed fine dining, but also Swiss Chalet, crosswords, reading, tv and family get togethers.
A service will be held at Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 2650 Pillette Rd., Windsor ON on Wednesday January 25, 2023 at 1 p.m. Rabbi Sholom Galperin is officiating.
Shiva will be at 2 Covington Rd. Toronto, M6A 3E2 on Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 3 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and family visiting Friday, January 27, 2023 from 3-8 p.m.
