Leonard Braitman (AH)
1929-09-06 – 2021-12-18
It is with heavy and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Leonard, a loving husband, father, brother and zayde, on December 18, 2021 at the age of 92. Beloved husband and best friend to Charlotte (nee Levine), with whom he celebrated 53 wonderful years of marriage. Predeceased by his parents Barney Braitman and Jeanette Meretsky. Also sadly predeceased by his lifelong best friend and uncle Alfred Meretsky (1995). Devoted father to Brian (Mary). Adored brother to Joyce (Leon) of Columbia, Maryland. Cherished uncle to Barbara (Jay) & Helene (Allan). Treasured zayde to Joseph. Leonard and his wife Charlotte were proud owners of The Princess Dress Shoppe on Ouellette Avenue for over 45 years. He certainly left his forever foot print in Windsor’s retail industry but will be remembered as one who always put his family first. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2 p.m. at the Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 2650 Pillette Road. The family would like to thank all those for your love and support.
